How It Works

Our sytem analyses book data and create a 3D visualization cloud of book relationships. Its an attempt to get away from the "if you bought this, you might like this" approach of traditional book search engines as the relationship between books is more complex than that. This also brings limitations - we only have a a few thousand books in our database, so we can't guarantee that we will have all the books you are looking for.

Rating Books - Why it Matters

When you rate a book on ANovelFind you don't get to write about it (although we may add that in future if people want to!). Instead, you just rate the book on a scale of 1 to 5 stars - 3 stars is the 'meh' rating, anything above 3 stars is a 'enjoyable' book, and anything below 3 stars is a unenjoyable book to you.

This is completely subjective, and you are the only one who can rate the book as you see fit. We use these ratings to change the star map that you see. The more books you rate, the more accurate the relationships between books that you see will be. If you like romantic comdey horror books then, hey, that's your bag. If I want distopian sci-fi with a twist of brutality, then that's my bag. Neither of us are wrong, we just have different tastes.

More importantly, we should start to see different books appear in the cloud as we rate more books.
